Dixie is my miracle baby – she’s overcome cancer, chemo, spleen removal surgery and many other obstacles the vet thought she wouldn’t survive. She came into my life almost 18 years ago, and some might think I’ve saved her life, but I think the opposite is more true. I don’t have children, so she is my life : she’s just too special and rare to not carry on a legacy, so that’s why I’m preserving her genes — so when I’m ready, I can always have someone “like” her.
I was a cat person before I met her – she has a soul inside of her that grabs you by the heart. There can only be one Dixie, but thank you for allowing me to carry on her legacy.
