Cookie

Cookie Monster is my service dog. She is an Idaho shag breed which is a mix of Airedale, border collie and Austrian Shepard. She does not shed. She is brilliant.

I have been struck by lightning and have had 4 back surgeries. I am permanently disabled. My last back surgery was brutal. My dr said I would benefit from a service dog. I had a Cookie already. I didn’t need two dogs. I had a service dog trainer come test Cookie and she tested extremely high. So she went thru the program and was thru the program by the time I had my 4th surgery. She stayed with me in hospital She has saved my life many times. When weather changes happen my left side stops working. She warns me so I don’t fall. So many other things she warns and helps me with. She gets meds for me. Brings me water. Can call 911. She is my miracle. When I heard about Viagen it was a no brainer. It takes such a special dog to be able to do what she does. It would save us much time and energy if I could start with the same dog. Cookie II will still need to go thru training but she can be raised with Cookie Monster and learn before she has to go to official training. Of course I hope Cookie lives to be 20 but service work is hard and I want to be able to give her a wonderful retirement.
