We welcomed Storm into our family when she was just six months old. From the very beginning, she was a joyful, playful little kitten with big ears and adorable orange stripes that made her look like a tiny tiger. Her soft peach fuzz felt like suede or velvet. As she grew older, much of that fuzzy coat disappeared, giving her an even more unique appearance.
Though Storm remained a petite cat weighing only about 6 lb as an adult, she had an enormous personality and filled our home with love, warmth, and laughter. From the moment she arrived, she formed an extraordinary bond with my wife, Olya. They chose each other instantly and were inseparable for the rest of Storm’s life. She adored cuddling, burrowing under her cozy blankets, and always finding the warmest place to nap.
Olya has always called Storm her soul cat.
The bond they shared was truly one of a kind, and not a day goes by that she doesn’t miss her. We are holding onto the hope that one day, she will be able to hold her precious Stormy in her arms again.
